According to this new article,  The Academic Staff  Union Of Unversities (ASUU) and the Federal Government (FG) of Nigeria have finally reached the end of the dispute which made ASUU to go on strike early last month.

This is a good and exciting development because  it means FG universities will resume and if the demands of ASUU have been given to them like the reconstitution of boards and councils and the issue of the legal framework regarding the retirement age of Professors and the like, we will have a better schooling environment for both lecturers and students.

It’s also a good thing that the FG is now being more responsive to the need of ASUU and other labour groups.

God bless Nigeria
